Originally designed for artists to repair their canvasses, Mulberry papers are now widely used in many crafts, including card making. However, they now come in a great variety of designs, colours and textures. The easiest way of getting the size and shape of Mulberry paper you need, is to use a wet paint brush and draw the shape out that you want and then gently tear along the lines. This leaves you with a lovely rough edge. However, I like to have a straight edge in some designs so just cut with scissors. You can use mulberry paper as a mount for an embellishment or in a strip down or across the page.
