Wedding Congratulations - Feather and foil

You will need:
A4 deep burgundy card
Cream Pealised paper
White velum with siler 'Wedding' text (Available from MSA Crafts)

Cream feather
Craft foil and embossing equipment
Corner Heart punch
Strong glue
Foam Pads
Double sided tape

Step 1: Fold the A4 card in half.

Step 2: Cut the cream pealised paper and the velum to a third of the height of the card and so that there is just less than 1cm boarders all round.

Step 3: Stick the cream paper to the card with double sided tape. Then stick the velum onto this with the double sided tape. (You can get special velum tapes but if your tape edges are clean and you stick close to the edges you shouldn't see the tape)

Step 4: Cut a piece of craft foil to a third of the height of the card to fit in the gap at the top leaving a small boarder.

Step 5: Punch the corners, saving the hearts to use later.

Step 6: Leaning on some polysyrene sheet, carefully emboss the writing (ie: Congratulations and the names of the bride and groom) be carefull not to push through the foil. You may want to write out or print out the words on paper first and stick this onto the foil with masking tape.

Step 7: Stick this to the top of the card with foam pads.

Step 8: Stick the feather and hearts onto the velum with strong glue. You will need to punch out a few more hearts.

Step 9: Add a decorative edged insert.
