Skill level: Advanced You will need: |
Step 1: Stamp and emboss the 'Happy Birthday' repeating stamp onto the left side of the card with gold embossing powder. Leave to dry.
Step 2: Stamp and emboss the 'Candles' onto white card, one with gold embossing powder for the flames and red for the candles, the other just red embossing powder. Once dry, cut out the red candles individually and cut around the block of gold and red candles.
Step 3: Draw or stencil the '21' from the yellow textured card and cut out. Using the red ink pad smudge the edges of the numbers. Leave to dry completely before placing onto the card and drawing around the top half onto the card with a pencil. Cut out the shape of the top of the '21' from the card.
Step 4: Stick the '21' onto the card with strong glue.
Step 5: Stick the individual candles along the bottom of the '21'. You will not need to use them all, only 9, as this makes up 21 in total.
Step 6: Using the foam pads stick the block of candles in front of the individual candles.
Step 7: Add an insert. Remember that the top of the card has been cut out so you will need a shorter insert.
Tip: If you do not have the 'Happy Birthday' repeating stamp you could print it from a computer. This can also be adapted for any age.
