Card Design Projects
Step 1: Punch a flower approximately 3cms down and 1.5cms in, at the top left corner of the front of your card blank. Stick the clear peel off behind the hole. Tip on the accent beads and shake off the excess into a tub. Step 2: Cut a strip of the pink mulberry paper to the same width as the flower punch. Stick one length from just below the punch to the bottom of the card and then a smaller length above the punch to the top of the card. See picture for reference. Step 3: Using the deckled edge scissors cut down the right hand side of the card by about 1 to 1.5 cms. Step 4: Punch 3 flowers from each of the pink shimmer paper and the pink and cream pearlised papers. Step 5: Cut out a vase shape from the pink corrugated card. Position the vase in the bottom right hand corner and stick with sticky foam pads. Position the flowers above the vase and when happy with the look stick them down with a strong glue. Tip: Use a cocktail stick to apply the glue. Step 6: Stick the peel off's at the top centrally to the pink mulberry paper and the card edge. Step 7: Open the card and stick a 3cm wide strip of pink mulberry paper to the right hand edge of the inside of the card.
Step 8:
Cut an insert with the same deckled edge to the sides, remember
it will need to be slightly smaller than normal as the card front
is shorter.
