Christmas - Fimo

Skill level: Intermediate to Advanced Approx. time: 10 mins assembling per design + baking time You will need: Fimo modeling clay and tools White Square card blanks Peel offs Strong Glue Inserts

You will also need the following for each design:

Step 1: make the embellishments out of Fimo as below.

Reindeer: Make a face shape from the bronze fimo and using a finger nail make a smiling mouth. Roll a small ball of red for his nose and stick into place.

Holly: Make three holly leaves and draw a line down the centre of each. Make three small balls of red. You do not need to stick these together yet.

Tree: Roll out some green Fimo and cut into a triangle. Stick on some small balls of the red and make a small star from the red by making a ball and then using the tip of a pencil spilt into five points.

Present: Roll out some red fimo and cut out a square. Roll three sausages of the bronze fimo and stick two in a cross on the square. Make a small bow with the last sausage and stick on with a ball of bronze.

Follow the manufacturers instructions and bake the fimo. Leave to cool.

Step 2: Tree and Present: using a strong clear glue place the sequin waste onto the card and then stick the shape on top. This will then hold the sequin waste into place.

Reindeer: cut the pipe cleaner in quarters and then fold one piece around the middle of another to form the anterlers and repeat for the second. Stick this onto the card with a strong glue and then stick the face on top. Stick the eyes on.

Holly: stick each piece in place onto the card with a strong glue.

Step 3: Stick on the peel offs as shown in the pictures and add an insert.

Why not try other designs with fimo like a snowman, bauble's, Santa or candy cane's. Remember not to make them too big as they will make the cards front heavy and they won't stand up.
