Right click on the thumnails below and select Save Target As... Save
each template onto your computer.
Step 1: In a word
processing programme (like Microsoft Word),open a new document select
>Insert > Picture > From File and select the template and print.
Cut each shape out and use as a template to cut out each of the shapes
from the correct paper. The Christmas Pudding also requires two punched
circles from the red paper, for the holly berries.
Step 2: Assemble the
pieces for each design onto the card blank and stick down. Remember
to use sticky foam pads for the kings crowns.
Step 3: Type in Word,
the phrases for each design. Change the font and size. You will need
to play around with the size until you get it right. You can then copy
and paste down the page so that you have a full page. Once printed and
dried you can then tear them to size with a ruler.
Step 4: Cut the strips
of mulberry paper to size and stick at the bottom of the card. Notice
that on the Santa and Kings designs there is a gap at the bottom and
the Robin and Christmas Pud designs are flush to the bottom of the card.
Stick on your printed words.
Step 5: Add the gems
to the Kings design and draw in the Eyes and mouth for the Santa and
Robin design.
Why not try
making a different design using the same technique. Maybe a Reindeer
or Snowman. All papers used in these designs were purchased from Craft
Creations.
