Happy Birthday Music/50th

Skill level: Intermediate Approx. time: 60 mins You will need: Cream card - Folded size 175mm x 125mm Green card scraps Gold card scrap Gold Embossing powder Moss Embossing powder Embossing Equipment Slow drying ink pad green (small) Happy Birthday repeat stamp '5', '0', 'D' and 'A' stamps from Whispers alphabet stamp set Glue Scissors Notes stencil (see below)

Step 1: Stamp and emboss the Happy Birthday repeat stamp with gold powder onto a scrap of green card. Leave to dry.

Step 2: Using the single note stencil stamp two notes with a small ink pad and then emboss with gold powder. Do the same for one double note. Leave to dry.

Note stencil printed onto card and cut out.

Step 3: Stamp the '5' randomly over the cream card front and embossing with the moss powder. Do the same with the '0' next to each '5'. Leave to dry.

Step 4: Cut out the notes leaving a small boarder. Trim the Happy Birthday and mount onto the gold card with a small boarder.

Step 5: Arrange all the pieces and stick down.

Step 6: Stamp and emboss the 'D' 'A' 'D' in gold at the bottom right edge of the Happy Birthday stamp.

To download the templates, right click and select "Save picture as..."
You can use your imaging software to resize these templates. We printed and used them at the sizes listed below each template. Please note that the larger you scale the image the more 'blocky' it will become. Print onto thin card and cut out the printed black area leaving a note shaped stencil for use as in step 2.
