Card Design Projects
Dog Collar- Female

Skill level: Beginner to Intermediate Approx. time: 25mins You will need: Square Iridescent card Dog stamp Purple ink pad Lilac leather effect card Silver card -scrap Purple gems - four Sticky foam pads Strong glue Scissors/craft knife Silver Happy Birthday peel off

The equipment you will require is shown in the picture opposite.

Step 1: Stamp the dog in a diagonal pattern across the card, making sure some of the images go over the edge of the card. See below. Leave to dry.

Step 2: Cut out the collar shape either with scissors or a craft knife, whichever you fell most comfortable using. Draw on the front edge with a black pen, to make it look 3D.

Step 3: Cut out a heart shape from the scrap of silver card and stick in the centre of the collar.

Step 4: Stick on the four gems using strong glue. Tip: Use a cocktail stick or straightened paperclip to apply glue to small items.

Step 5: Stick the collar onto the card using the sticky foam pads.

Step 6: Stick the Happy Birthday peel off across the top.
