Card Design Projects
Step 1: Punch a flower in the top right corner of the card. Stick a clear square peel-off over the hole on the back. Over a tray or plastic tub sprinkle the accent beads to cover the entire punched hole. Step 2: Punch out two white/gold sparkly, one pink sparkly and one pink vellum flowers. Stick them equal distances apart down the edge of the card. Make sure the petals are all pointing the same way. Step 3: Pierce two holes using the needle, placing the sticky tac behind the card to push through onto. The holes need to be about 1cm from the top and 1cm from the folded side and the same at the bottom of the card. Thread the wire through one hole so that about 2cm is showing on the inside of the card. Fold this over and stick with sellotape. (Dont worry we will cover this up later) Thread on about a dozen beads varying the colour used. Now stretch the wire down and thread through the bottom hole, bend over and tape as before. Making sure the wire is taught. Step 4: Stamp and emboss Happy Birthday on the white printer paper. Cut a strip about cms wide and the length of the card and stick with PVA glue or glue stick as in the final picture. Step 5: Cut an insert 1 or 2 mm smaller than the card and then stick the whole front to the inside of the card so that it covers up the wire.
