Fathers Day Card

Simple Father's Day Card

Skill level: Beginner
Approx. time: 20 -25 minutes

You will need:
White textured card
Red mulberry paper
Paint brush and a little water
Black sparkly card
Two Ace cards from small kids pack
Silver ‘Happy Father’s Day’ peel off
PVA glue or glue stick
Deckled edged scissor
Insert

Step 1: Cut the White textured paper to A5 and fold in half or use a card blank.

Step 2: Using the paint brush and water, draw out an oblong on the mulberry paper to about half the size of the card and carefully tear along the water line. Leave to one side to dry.

Step 3:Using the deckled edged scissor cut the black sparkly paper into a slightly smaller oblong so that it fits on top of the red leaving a boarder around it of about ½ cm. Stick the black card onto the mulberry paper using either the PVA or glue stick. Then stick this centrally side to side and about 1 - 1 ½ cm from the top of the card.

Step 4: Stick the two playing cards face up on the black card with PVA or glue stick as in picture.

Step 5: Stick the peel off at the bottom of the card centrally.

Step 6: Make a paper insert and fix in with double sided tape. See Inserts in Hints and Tips.
